Jefferson Health is set to revolutionize cardiovascular care across Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey with the establishment of the Bruce and Robbi Toll Heart and Vascular Institute. This transformative initiative, made possible by a generous gift from the Toll family, will unite nearly 300 cardiac practitioners, enhance cross-disciplinary research and education, and improve access to care for over 10,000 patients. We're grateful for this opportunity to advance our fight against heart disease and make a lasting impact on our community's health. https://bit.ly/4eK2z3J

We had a great time celebrating Jefferson’s 200th Anniversary Block Party with Wawa, Inc. Welcome America on the new Jefferson Plaza! All were welcome to join in on the fun and celebrate our 200 years of innovation and education. With a special performance by Kathy Sledge, the festivities continued with additional live performances, kid friendly activities, food, giveaways and more. Our year-long service initiative reached its halfway point with 100,000 hours of service work completed. #WeAreJefferson #Jefferson200

In January, we called on our entire Jefferson community to volunteer 200,000 hours in our communities in honor of our 200th birthday. And we’re proud to report that as of today, we logged our 100,000th hour, meaning we’re half way toward our goal of 200,000 hours! The impact of 200,000 hours of service is tangible, and we’d like to recognize the project that led us to the 100K mark: Camp Charlie. Projects like Camp Charlie are a testament to our commitment to making a positive difference. Camp Charlie is a week-long, day-camp for children ages 6-12 who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The Philadelphia Zoo, which turns 150 this year, and the Franklin Institute, which, like us, is turning 200, have generously donated tickets to our Camp Charlie campers so they can keep the fun going this summer. Thank you to all the members of Jefferson who have volunteered as part of this incredible service initiative. #Jefferson200 Jefferson Health Jefferson Health Plans Thomas Jefferson University
