  • We were delighted to welcome the Brandpreneur Mentorship Foundation to the Women Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture (WCCIMA). Their visit was an exciting opportunity to discuss potential collaborations with our Director General, Ms. Weyinmi (Wey) Eribo, and explore how they can join WCCIMA as members. The Brandpreneur Mentorship Foundation is committed to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, and we are thrilled about the possibilities this collaboration brings.   • Last month, WCCIMA joined key stakeholders, including SMEDAN and Nigerian Export Import Bank - NEXIM, at a pivotal Breakfast Roundtable Discussion hosted by UNDP and the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment. The focus was on leveraging AfCFTA to boost the growth of Nigerian SMEs and position Nigeria’s exports for success. These inspiring women play a crucial role in driving our mission to empower female entrepreneurs and foster economic growth across Nigeria. Meet Princess Roseline Egbo the WCCIMA State Representative, Enugu Chamber, Enugu state, she is a retired Permanent Secretary, a Professional Chartered Accountant,a Licensed Tax Practitioner and Consultant. She is a member of many organizations both National and International such as Soroptimist International. She is currently a Council Member of a National University, ANAN University at Kwal Plateau State. Though not tired after retirement she ventured into Entrepreneurship which she enjoys a lot. She established Ria Consulting Firm an outfit for professional services in accounting, auditing, taxation and trainings She is also the CEO of Ria Mega Project & Consult Ltd an agro company and general procurement. She is very active in agro and allied businesses including export She has inspired a lot of women and youths to go into agro business. through Cooperatives She has facilitated a lot of Trainings on Pre- retirement and agro-entreprenuership including those sponsored by World Bank and NEPC (Nigerian Export Promotion Council) Her Company Ria Mega is currently into massive production of Rice, Cassava, Potatoes, livestock, mushroom (various types), and Spices (ginger, turmeric, scent leaves, etc).   • Welcome to the vibrant community of the Women Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture! We’re thrilled to spotlight our newest members who are making waves in their respective fields. Meet Ogwa Iweze , she is a Fashion Entrepreneur and the Creative Director of Dzyn Clothing Limited, A Women’s Clothing brand in its 15th year. The brand has established itself as the go-to for ready to wear and made to measure pieces for upwardly mobile women within and outside the country. Aside from running this successful brand, Ogwa founded Runway Abuja which has held the biggest fashion shows in Abuja with a track record of providing an international standard fashion show for new, existing and well-established fashion labels. Having attended fashion shows within and outside the country, she not only has personal experience as a designer participating in these shows but also know firsthand what it takes to organize a successful show. Ogwa also founded a Fashion Strategy Class called Fashion for Profit, the idea behind Fashion for Profit is to change the narrative regarding Fashion businesses not being financially viable in Nigeria. She is constantly looking for ways to promote fashion brands (hers inclusive) from this part of the country and helping new brands gain the right exposure while using her network to bring bigger brands looking to tap into this market and promote their products and services. In her free time, she trains and encourages new entrants into the business and on the job by taking on interns and mentees to understand the intricacies of running a successful fashion brand and earning a living from it while also providing employment.
