This morning, iMasons Climate Accord Governing Body took the next big step to help reduce #carbonemissions in the #digitalinfrastructure industry by releasing an open letter for increased adoption of Environmental Product Declarations (#EPDs) to bring #transparency to #Scope3 emissions and detail #embodiedcarbon in #equipment and #materials. Promoting industry-wide adoption of EPDs is a critical step in enabling carbon-informed decision making and furthering our journey toward #netzero, and a powerful example of how #collaboration is key to solving the pressing challenges of our time. It’s a privilege to be a part of this amazing initiative being spearheaded by Schneider Electric, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Digital Realty, Google, Meta, and Microsoft. Thank you to the Governing Body Members and their respective organizations for their #leadership and support of this key publication: Mislav Crnogorac, Lex Coors, Noah Goldstein, Ph.D., Dean Nelson, Julie Lieb, Charlie Sellars, and Douglas Mouton. Additional thanks to our Executive Director, Miranda G. Gardiner, LEED Fellow, and our Infrastructure Masons team, especially Rachell Robson, Santiago Suinaga, and Jeff Omelchuck, for their ongoing guidance and engagement.
