It is truly a special moment when an opportunity is given to leave a lasting impression on the life of another. This was certainly the case for me in presenting the WAA Bill Weaver Aviation Scholarships (#WAA) to this year’s recipients, Erin Simon and Yashica Balasubramanian. To say that these two young women are impressive, is to say almost nothing at all. They have a brilliant and unwritten future ahead of them with limitless possibilities. Personally, I am greatly encouraged to observe such untethered talent entering the aviation field at such a young age. I wait with great anticipation to see what direction they will choose to go. Thank you to the generous support of Academy of Aviation (#flyaoa) and Tradewind Aviation (#flytradewind) for making these awards fiscally possible.
