🌈 Last week, our Queer Collective ERG hosted a fantastic firm-wide training called "Veris Insights Proud: Trans 101" in celebration of #PrideMonth! 🌟 We were honored to have Dr. Betsy Dahms (they/them), Chief Diversity Officer at the University of West Georgia and a Safe Zone facilitator, lead the session. Dr. Dahms provided invaluable insights to help us become more comfortable and confident discussing LGBTQ+ rights, with a special focus on transgender and gender nonconforming (GNC) advocacy. Their practical examples of allyship tailored to our various workstreams were incredibly impactful and actionable. A huge thank you to Dr. Dahms for such an enlightening session, and to Queer Collective Co-Leads Abby Henderson and Delaney Paul for organizing this company-wide event.
