The event’s Welcome Sponsor is McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia, P.C., with Gold Sponsorships provided by Simmons Hanly Conroy, LLP, Simon Greenstone Panatier P.C., and Weitz & Luxenberg P.C. “New Beginnings” is the gala sponsored by the Vera House Foundation Board of Trustees to benefit the programs and services of Vera House, Inc. Taking place in October 2024, the “New Beginnings” Gala will bring together over 500 guests to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month and to support the agency’s mission to end domestic and sexual violence and other forms of abuse. “I am honored to serve as co-chair of the 2024 New Beginnings Gala with my good friend, Sheena Solomon. Vera House provides critical programs and services to the city of Syracuse and is a vital organization in Onondaga County. Please join us on October 19th, at the New Beginnings Gala as we proudly support Vera House and those they serve,” said Syracuse City Mayor, Ben Walsh. Gifford Foundation Executive Director, Sheena Solomon said “I dream of a world where there is no abuse or violence. I support Vera House because their goal is to make that dream come true. As an Executive Director of a foundation, I’ve learned that partnerships matter. Vera House cannot complete this mission alone; they need the community to partner with them to accomplish their mission and goals. I am excited to co-chair the “New Beginnings” Gala with our beloved Mayor Ben Walsh and be a partner to end abuse and violence by supporting Vera House programs.” "The New Beginnings Gala has always been a beacon of inspiration and solidarity, bringing together individuals and organizations committed to ending domestic and sexual violence. After two years apart, we are excited to gather once again to honor the resilience and strength of survivors, and to celebrate the collective efforts that drive our mission forward,” says Daquetta Jones, Vera House, Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer. The Vera House Foundation proudly announces their new Board Chair, Meagan Dean, Partner, McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia P.C., “On behalf of the Foundation, we are very much looking forward to the return of the New Beginnings Gala this year,” says Dean. “We hope that you are able to join us in October to celebrate and support the significant work of Vera House, Inc., and the services it provides to victims of violence and abuse.” For more information, or reservations, please contact Vera House, Inc.’s Director of Development, Carrie Veley at (315) 425-0818 x2203, or make your reservations securely online by visiting https://lnkd.in/e6s8bJ-b.
