About us
The Virginia Beach Convention and Visitor Bureau (CVB) supports, maintains and expands the City's leisure travel (including the group tour market and international travel) and the meeting & convention and sports marketing markets. The CVB offers corporate social responsibility programs for clients and CVB staff participates in them both as a bureau and with the hospitality industry. The budget for the Bureau is over $18 million and over 100 employees. The Bureau also manages the 500,000 square foot Virginia Beach Convention Center (VBCC). The destination is proud to be the first "Virginia Green" destination in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the VBCC is the first LEED certified convention center for Existing Buildings.

🏅 Virginia Beach bartenders, get ready to compete for the title of "Virginia’s Best Cocktail in 2024" in the inaugural Virginia Cocktail Games! Inspired by the Summer Olympics, this state-wide, two-round competition will showcase the finest mixologists from across Virginia. From now until June 20, bartenders are invited to participate by submitting a cocktail creation inspired by the Summer Olympics and featuring at least one locally distilled ingredient from their area. A panel of judges, including members of the Virginia Spirits Board, the Virginia bartending community and Virginia distillers, will review the entries and select 25 finalists—five from each region—to compete in the digital round.
