Kicking off our NCAC introduction, we are pleased to introduce Bree Brown, NCAC Chair and Platform Chief CRNA-NTX. Bree has held her current position for five years and has been actively involved with USAP Cares, the SRNA Leadership Conference, the USAP Leadership Conference, and the USAP Culture Committee. When asked how she anticipates the NCAC will enhance the culture of our organization, she responded, "The NCAC comes together to see what issues we all see as leaders. In being able to identify issues that are affecting us all, we can work together to come up with the best solution rather than trying to work things out independently." Earlier this month, we were fortunate to host an evening of great conversations and networking for the University of Arizona CRNA program in Tucson, Arizona. Bree Brown, DNP, CRNA (USAP-North Texas Platform Chief CRNA) and Morgan Beeson, CRNA (USAP-Nevada Co-Chief CRNA) led a presentation, "What’s Next," offering valuable education and wisdom for future CRNAs as they navigate their job search. USAP is a group of practices where every voice is important. One example of this culture is our National Care Team Advisory Council (NCAC), established in November 2022. The NCAC is dedicated to being the voice for CRNAs and CAAs across every platform. Our primary goal is to collaborate on key issues and share best practices across our organization. The USAP-Tennessee team had a fantastic time hosting their annual welcoming for the new CRNAs and MDAs Ascension Saint Thomas, along with their families!
