  • A Democratic Congress Member seeks an experienced legislative staffer for the Member’s D.C. office who has a background in matters before the House Homeland Security, Judiciary, and Appropriations Committees. Candidates with a J.D. or another advanced degree are strongly encouraged to apply, and experience working as a legislative assistant, legislative aide, or similar permanent staffer for a minimum of two years is required. The application portal will close on Friday, August 9th, 2024 or upon receipt of 100 applications, whichever comes first. The pay range is $65,000-$80,000 per year, along with a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance; federal student loan repayment (terms apply); transit or parking benefits; and partial remote work flexibilities.

  • Senior Democratic Member of Congress seeks Field Representative for office in Woodland, California, to cover Vacaville, Dixon, Rio Vista, and Solano County. The Field Representative serves as the Member's community representative for issues and programs within their assigned areas, including monitoring and updating the Member and their colleagues on important local issues, emerging trends, and critical developments. They also represent the Member at community events and meetings, schedule the Member while in the district, prepare and attend meetings and events with the Member, answer casework correspondence and verbal communications with constituents, act as liaison with federal, district, and local agencies for the Member and constituents, and other duties important to serving the people of the congressional district. A driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Prior experience developing a community relations strategy for a Member of Congress, elected official, or Federal agency is preferred. Familiarity with Member's district, especially Vacaville, Dixon, Rio Vista and Solano County, is preferred. Ability to communicate in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desirable.
