In a recent Digiday article, they looked at how "The number of 20-plus minute-long videos creators around the world are uploading to YouTube each month has increased from 1.3 million in July 2022 to 8.5 million in June 2024." VidCon 2020 ➡ VidCon 2024 As #VidConAN2024 is fast approaching, I've been thinking back to highlights of my last #VidCon experience in London 👇 1. Rich Waterworth sat down with Creator @Laurbubble to discuss TikTok's plans in 2020 (it was a packed room and later recorded as the most attended session that year!). Fast forward to this year, TikTok will have a huge presence at VidCon - including my ex-colleague Ted Fernandez hosting his own panel focused on monetisation. 2. Tubular Labs presented insights on what the world was watching in 2019, including the unexpected trend of miniatures. Still relevant in 2024, YTD alone, there has been over 514M views on TikTok* of #miniverse or #miniature content. 3. Denis Crushell hosted a panel with Lee Wilcox, CEO of On The Tools.
