It was that origin story that would help springboard the conception of Treez when I met our co-founder Shareef El-Sissi, who owned a cannabis retail operation. It was then in 2016 that I felt a generational opportunity to modernize the entire cannabis industry at a time when mainstream software providers were not servicing the cannabis industry.  Shareef and I took the opportunity to build a system that would accelerate the growth of his dispensary but also the global cannabis industry.
