$7,000 of our $15,000 Summer Campaign Raised 🥳🥳✈️✈️ This August 2024, Too Fly Foundation turns 8. 8 years ago, some millennials in Dallas, TX decided to create a fundraiser. It was created out of love, it was created out of joy and it was created out of the silly idea that if we can just help students get passports, maybe they’d be inspired to see and change the world. Fast forward and the Too Fly Foundation has helped over 300 students nationwide from underrepresented and underresourced communities study abroad and has created in-person outreaches that’s reached over 1,000 students. Along the way we made friends and supporters in different cities and different countries. We also have collected some titles and trophies that will make you “ooh” and “ahh”. But that’s not why we do this. These faces, is what is about. This is not just about travel. This is about taking up space, when the world says you don’t belong. This is about opening hearts and minds to new ideas and solutions. This is about generational empowerment. There’s a lot going on in this world. I can’t deny when we look around that things are heavy and appear hopeless. But this work…is inspiring work. It’s impactful work.
