Libraries aren't just for books anymore! EUA, renowned for its innovative architectural designs, took the lead on the Evergreen Public Library remodel. With a mission to elevate human potential and enrich communities, EUA's redesign reflects the vibrant nature of modern libraries, providing thoughtfully designed spaces for learning, gathering, and relaxing. Their commitment to sustainability and efficient design is evident in every corner of the new library space. Fransen Pittman Construction, a trusted name in construction, partnered with EUA as the general contractor for this project. Known for their transparent and hands-on approach, Fransen Pittman Construction ensured that every detail of the remodel met the highest standards. Their work has transformed the library into a welcoming community hub, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and precision in construction. The Evergreen Library reopened its doors in April 2024, following a $5.2 million remodel that began in August 2023. The project includes new areas for teens, children, and families, as well as enhanced study rooms and a tech area. The remodeled space is designed to reflect the evolving role of libraries in providing access to diverse forms of information and fostering community connections. The Unfound Door provided a full day of architectural photography, capturing the stunning transformations made during the remodel. Our photos highlight the bright, inviting spaces and innovative design elements that make the Evergreen Library a cornerstone of its community. Our Northern Colorado team was honored to attend the ribbon cutting last week for the new 9/11 Memorial at Spring Park in Fort Collins. As City Manager Kelly DiMartino aptly noted in her remarks, Fort Collins is home to many unique spaces that honor or recognize significant events both for the community and the greater nation.
