I was blessed to be in the studio to capture content for the Music and Media Lab Summer Camp sponsored by The Metropolitan Business League and hosted by In Your Ear Studio, L.I.V, and Shockoe Records! The camp successfully brought together aspiring multidisciplinary artists to nurture their artistic growth and foster collaborative skills. Participants engaged in a holistic journey of artistic discovery through various workshops and activities that spanned diverse forms of media and musical expression. This dynamic camp provided a platform for young artists to explore and integrate their unique talents, resulting in the creation and presentation of a unified collaborative sonic and visual project. The camp’s focus on creativity, teamwork, and innovation left a lasting impact on all involved, highlighting the power of collaboration in the arts. Thank you for the invitation to participate in this inaugural experience, Floyd E Miller, M. Ed.,QMHP! Content created by the McCoy Bennett Marketing Firm✅

Calling all current or aspiring agricultural growers, food producers, and food entrepreneurs! River Street Education wants to support local food and agriculture businesses so that they can grow and thrive in the Tri-Cities Area (Cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell, and Petersburg & Counties of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Prince George, and Sussex) AND we need YOUR guidance to do it! By Friday, August 9th, 2024, please complete one of the following surveys. First, choose the survey below that best fits your business model: Food Entrepreneurs are someone who starts their own business in the food or culinary industry which may include caterers, food trucks, pop-ups, and more - https://lnkd.in/ezdp_5qG Growers and producers - https://lnkd.in/eFepSxsJ ▶ A grower is a farmer or someone growing vegetables, fruit, meat, grain, etc. ▶ A producer is someone creating value-added products from agricultural products (e.g. pickles, hot honey, salsa, etc.). River Street Education is a community organization that supports local farmers and markets through the River Street Market, the Market at PPL (Petersburg Public Library), and local food aggregation and distribution efforts. To deepen River Street Education’s support for local growers, producers, and food businesses, we have created two surveys (one for growers/producers and one for food entrepreneurs) to explore interest in a shared-use certified kitchen and a food hub for the Tri-Cities Area. The results will be used in a market analysis which is being supported by LOCUS (formerly Virginia Community Capital). Please share with others: If you know of anyone else that may be interested in the shared-use certified kitchen or a food hub, we’d be grateful if you would forward this invitation to them. If you have any questions, please reach out to our assessment consultant, Christy Gabbard with Local Concepts, at christy@localconceptsllc.com.
