https://lnkd.in/eDkGc9sg What a treat last night was! Firstly, we got to see three local businesses supporting organizations collaborate to host the Mayorial Candidates of Richmond. Secondly, we got to hear the heart of each candidate, while we decipher who is the best person to lead our great city! Congratulations to JWC Foundation, The Metropolitan Business League and Startup Virginia, Kym Grinnage and the NBC team, Shelby Brown and Dr. Darricka Carter Alexander for a successful event! My wish for anyone leading our great city is that they read and re-read the book, Richmond's Unhealed History by Benjamin Campbell! It is the singular resource needed for us not to repeat failures of the past and to advance the city in a meaningful way! (Link below)

💯 Such a BIG deal, and not surprising. as Virginia, especially the greater Richmond area, is full of incredible innovators and people who want to DO GOOD in their communities. 👏 Congrats to all the local Chambers of Commerce in particular who play such a great role in connecting businesses, government, schools, and nonprofits. So many great Chambers here in our area: ChamberRVA, Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, SOVA Chamber, Goochland Chamber of Commerce, Powhatan Chamber of Commerce, Hanover Chamber of Commerce VA, Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, and the The Metropolitan Business League. Plus there’s no better place to professionally network thanks also to Synapse, 212 , BNI (Business Network International), WHIMBY, Airport Business Association, Mike King, Bill Lund, Keith Reynolds, Andy Fulghum and others. Thank you Brian Anderson, Floyd E Miller, M. Ed.,QMHP, John Brandt, Carol Taylor, Nicole Riley, Melissa Haley, Karen Webb, Ernisha Hall, MBA, MSW, and Michel Zajur. #RVA #Community
