Box CEO Aaron Levie recently sat down with Patrick Tanahan, host of The Founder Hour, to share more about his experience launching Box, and what excites him the most about the future of AI in the enterprise. Take a listen 👇
When Aaron Levie was in high school, he had a few serious passions — magic, film, and computers. He loved magic, but the career prospects weren't great. He made short films but, like Spielberg, was rejected from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He ultimately chose to pursue the internet and computers, dropping out of college in 2005 to launch Box after a cold email to Mark Cuban led to a $300,000 angel investment. Almost two decades later, Box is a $4 billion business and the global leader in #cloudcomputing, transforming how companies manage and share information. In my conversation with Aaron this week on The Founder Hour, we dive into his early life, what inspired him to start Box, his thoughts on #AI and the future, and much more. 🔗 Link(s) to listen in the comments. #aaronlevie #box #cloud #artificialintelligence #enterprisesoftware #onlinestorage #thefounderhour #podcast #business #entrepreneurship #startups
