My clientele ranges from very tiny businesses to Fortune 100, and covers all types of vocations. For the past 2 decades, magazine design has become my "niche" of choice. Another round of thanks to the The Society of Publication Designers (SPD) jury for their support in awarding Salvation South a Merit award for photography in this year’s SPD59 for the feature I wrote and photographed, “All of These People Are Cousins.” I couldn’t have done it without the indefatigable Betsy Haywood whose willingness to talk about her family’s history, and organize large get-togethers with all of her family and extended family, was just amazing. And of course thanks to Chuck Reece, editor-in-chief, for all of his guidance. And Victoria Cumbee, who introduced me to Betsy, and cheered me on for the duration. And a big thanks to my father, Tom Steadman, career feature writer and reporter, who from the beginning when I told him the idea, encouraged me consistently to boil it down to the essentials. He’s the best writer I know. Thanks Dad.

🚨And *another* one..!🚨 It's raining awards, and we're all here for it! And folks, this is a big one: Fresh out of the The Society of Publication Designers (SPD)'s 59th annual SPD Award Show last night in NYC: A Silver Medal for FREUDE.FOREVER Magazine!☑️ To say it's been a wild week is an understatement. Still slightly in disbelief, but so happy and so proud of everyone, once again. You crushed this, and can feel very, very proud of what you’ve achieved! Hats off to Franziska Goppold João Telmo Elisabeth Holzer Ha My Le Thi Shin Miura Ena Aichinger Tassilo Hager Pascal Sommer Felicia Gehrke and so, so many more who all played their part in this.
