Last week two of my favorite things converged in one event, which was such a treat! As a working mother at Emerson, I love when my kids get to learn about STEM and what Emerson does each day. Couple that with hosting the event at The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum, where I serve on the board, it made for an extra special We ❤️ STEM Day this year. Over 100 kids and dozens of Emerson employees spent the day learning about robotics, botany, architecture and the science behind music. And as an added bonus, our kiddos had an hour in the Magic House to themselves to start the day! I’m proud that we are passing our love for STEM to the next generation and investing in our employees, their families and our community in this event. #Emerson #WeHeartSTEM

We feel accomplished when we can help local businesses, like The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum. This non-profit in our neighborhood is beloved by children as it offers engaging exhibits and hands on learning experiences. With an expanding warehouse, this organization was in need of more storage capacity. A Modern Equipment Company, Inc cantilever and a couple pallet racks later, the Magic House was ready to go. Now they're able to build new exhibits and seasonal attractions. Check out more about this project: bit.ly/3V7GgvW #industrialshelvingsystems

It's #ThankfulThursday! The Magic House is so grateful to the Watlow Enriching Lives Foundation for their support of the robotics team at MADE for Kids, the Dream Team! This community-based team, created in partnership with the St. Louis Student Robotics Association, is made up of students from St. Louis Public Schools and other surrounding schools that don't have a home robotics team. The team meets regularly at MADE for Kids to build their robots and practice for FIRST Robotics Competitions. Recently, the team participated in the St. Louis Regional, placing in the top 20! 🙌
