We're thrilled to share that CAM has been awarded a $75,000 exhibition support grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts! This grant will support "Like Water," a major group exhibition featuring a multigenerational cohort of artists working in the US and abroad. Organized by Ferring Foundation Chief Curator Dean Daderko, the exhibition will be on view at CAM from September 6, 2024 - February 9, 2025. "Like Water" addresses water's life-giving and destructive powers, floods (of emotion), the Mississippi River and its tributaries, climate change, the Middle Passage, and the path of (least) resistance, among other subjects. The Warhol Foundation awarded over $4 million to 49 visual arts organizations and cultural institutions this grant cycle. These awards will assist in cultivating, presenting, and upholding the diverse creative practices of artists. Images: Harold Fisk, Mississippi River Meander Maps, 1944
