TexProtects is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization in Texas focused primarily on the issue of child abuse and neglect prevention and the aftermath in its absence. Our goal is to strengthen the resilience of all families, which in turn protects children from the trauma of child abuse and neglect. We help build strong, safe childhoods for Texas children and families by developing and driving solutions to child abuse and neglect because we know that when children thrive – so does Texas. By advocating for strong policy, conducting research, partnering with allies and raising public awareness, we get results for children and families and help secure the future of Texas.

📣 2024 Health Grantee Spotlights pt. 2 📣 CFT has awarded $455,000 in grants to 12 local nonprofits supporting maternal health! By investing in North Texas nonprofits supporting individuals during and after their pregnancies, CFT hopes to help reduce pre-term births and maternal mortality. Six of our nonprofit grantees include: LBU Community Clinic, Nexus Recovery Center, Storks Nest Charity Fund of Dallas, TexProtects - Champions for Safe Children, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, and Viola's House.
