Texas Oncology patients also have the opportunity to participate in some of the most promising national clinical trials for a broad range of cancers. Texas Oncology is the primary participant in US Oncology Research, and has played a role in the development of nearly 100 FDA-approved cancer-fighting drugs, about one-third cancer therapies approved by the FDA to date.

Texas Oncology reposted this
July is Sarcoma & Bone Cancer Awareness Month. This rare cancer type accounts for approximately 1% of adult cancers and 15-20% of childhood cancers. Unfortunately, sarcoma is often resistant to existing treatment methods, and there is a need for new therapeutic options. Clinical trials and research play a vital role in improving treatment options and overall survival for these cancers. #ClinicalTrials #SarcomaAwarenessMonth #BoneCancerAwareness #CancerResearch
