We were able to brief him on our growth not only throughout the USA but internationally.  There is a continued focus by Congress on eliminating plastic pollution in both commercial and governmental operations.  There is also growing excitement about various ways our clients are saving money by utilizing our American made, compostable products. Congressman Wittman recognizes the importance of strong American manufacturing infrastructure particularly in advanced materials and advanced technologies like Terravive. 😱 Horrors of Life on the Road. Can you Identify? We have all been there. Life on the road visiting clients, visiting suppliers, visiting employees, attending conference, etc. 💪 As Entrepreneurs, you can never give up and you have to do what it takes.... no matter what! Team Terravive recently had an epic experience of life on the road: ▶ Get up at 3:00 am to catch a train to DC ▶ Carrying 14 days of supplies for US and Asia travel ▶ Attend all day DC conference and reception at night 🤯 Uber to hotel at 11 pm. Hotel overbooked. No rooms (thank you Hotel Tonight and Hilton) ▶ Uber to only other hotel available at 1230 am near Dulles 🤯 Hotel overbooked. No rooms (REALLY thank you Hotel Tonight and Hilton) ▶ No room and loaded like a mule with supplies 130 am ▶ Flight boards in Regan airport at 430 am ▶ Decide to sleep at airport 230 am 🌀 Cold rock bench only place available ▶ Cozy 60 F temperature (nice hand socks Julianna 😂 ) ▶ 330 am friendly policeman checking to make sure they weren’t homeless (they looked like it) ▶ Jackhammering and construction below their “Flintstones bed” 230 am to 5 am ▶ Board plane for a 10 hour flight. Work entire flight Once in a lifetime experience! Gotta do what it takes when you put on the Entrepreneurial Hat! Russell Campbell is a results-driven leader with over 30 years of military service.  As an Army Warrant Officer, he has deployed numerous times in combat zones, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and led cross-functional teams to accomplish missions around the world. Russ’s expertise lies in strategic planning, organizational development, project management and execution. Throughout his career, Russ has overseen large programs in the US and abroad, focusing on creating efficiencies, cost savings and cost avoidance for multimillion dollar programs. Reducing contract costs, operating supplies, and establishing efficiency in equipment maintenance. 🇺🇸 Post retirement from the Army as a CW5, Russ continues to work with exciting fast growing companies that can leverage his expertise. He is currently serving as the Director of Military Sales & Food Service for HOIST Hydration. Additionally, he serves on the Executive Board of Directors for Research and Development Associates (R&DA), helping to bring government, private industry, and the customer together to create sustaining and innovative solutions. 💪 Hooah & Oorah: Can you run up 1,130 steps and 4 miles? Our owners, Julianna and Joe are always challenging themselves, both their minds and bodies, to prepare for the challenges in life and work. They constantly challenge each other and push one another to the next level. ❌ Stress levels for entrepreneurs and rapidly scaling global companies frequently get maxed out and working out is a great way to manage those stresses!
