Open RAN actions speak louder than words - the Eco System Continues to grow. Version 22 This round of changes to the Ecosystem charts are significant, after spending the last two weeks in Korea and Taiwan. I was able to spend time at the O-RAN ALLIANCE face to face meeting in Korea, where the on June 12, 2024 O-RAN ALLIANCE signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Open RAN Industry Alliance (ORIA) in South Korea. The Following week was the Open RAN summit in Taipei followed with the US - Taiwan 5G Broad band delegation visiting companies including MTI, Pegatron, Wistron NeWeb Corporation (WNC) Chungwa Telecom, Compal, arranged by Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)(工業技術研究院, 工研院) Taiwan has definitely picked up the Open RAN challenge and will soon break out It is exciting to see how the Open RAN community continues to grow - attendance at these events was amazing. Again thank for your support in updating these charts and please send any comments/updates.
