About us

At teambuilding™ we run fun virtual team building activities for remote teams. We work with organizations all over the world, including the United States, Canada, UK, Australia and more. Our remote team building activities include Online Office Games, Superhero Academy, Tiny Campfire, and Murder Mysteries! We also run professional development training like our Remote Storytelling Workshop and Comedy Workshop. Our virtual team building is designed from the ground up to connect remote workers. We use elements like ice breaker questions, breakout rooms and fun live experiences to build deep connections and create shared memories. We also run local corporate events. For example, we run team building activities in NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC and more US cities. Our local brands for team building including Museum Hack for renegade museum tours and The Great Guac Off for a guacamole making competition you can do with your team. We believe in the power of team building for remote teams and local teams. We believe that work can be f***ing awesome, and that when everyone is operating as part of a team you can achieve a lot together.

🌟 Tomorrow is National Take Back the Lunch Break Day! 🌟 It's the perfect opportunity to break away from our desks, recharge, and build stronger bonds with our coworkers. Here are 5 fun ideas to celebrate and spark office camaraderie: 🧺 Potluck Picnic: Organize a potluck lunch where everyone brings a dish to share. Enjoy a variety of flavors and spend quality time outdoors (or in the break room.!) For a fun twist on this classic, assign a theme. Super secret recipes? Rainbow foods for Pride? Yes please! 🚶Team Lunch Field Trip: Take a group walk to a nearby park or café. A change of scenery and some fresh air can do wonders for creativity and team spirit. If you work remotely, video call with coworkers from that restaurant you've been meaning to try. (And don't forget to snap a pic of your dish to share with the team!) 🎲 Eat and Compete: Host a quick and fun office game session. Think trivia, board games, or even a mini scavenger hunt. Sneak bites between rolls of the dice. 📖 Lunch & Learn: Invite a guest speaker or watch a TED Talk together. It's an excellent way to learn something new while enjoying a meal with colleagues. Bonus bonding points if your coworkers volunteer to lead a lunch lecture on an unexpected topic they're an expert in. A quick ASL lesson, a tour around a cultural neighborhood, or a riveting history of Opera feuds? Get to know the world and your team better. 🥑 Guac Off: Challenge your coworkers to an epic, tasty, high-stakes guacamole-making competition. Grab your avocados and chips and PIT teams against each other to whip up some next-level dip. (Invite us, and our hosts can handle everything!) Let's take this opportunity to put work down, pick our forks up, and enjoy some quality time together. Happy National Take Back the Lunch Break Day! 🍽️🌳✨ Check out the comments for more ideas! #TakeBackLunch #OfficeCamaraderie #TeamBuilding #WorkLifeBalance #LunchBreak

Creativity (and a snack!) can go a long way in getting remote workers excited about virtual team building. Picture this: The week of your online social, team members receive a gourmet s'mores kit in the mail. Your people join a secure video meeting, light the tea light candles in their kits, and roast marshmallows next to their keyboards. A cheerful host then leads the group in a series of interactive camp games that help to build camaraderie in your remote teams. Curious about just what that looks like? Were hosting a complimentary demo of this fan-favorite event on June 12th 2024. Click through to secure your spot and receive your meeting link to attend. (S'mores kits aren't included in this demo, but you are welcome to BYOS -- bring your own s'mores!)

Did you know that June 1 is National Game Show Day? Virtual game shows are one of the best ways to engage remote and hybrid teams. Here's why: 1. Common Purpose - Virtual teams get few opportunities to interact. Rather than defaulting to shop talk or small talk when teammates do find themselves face to face on a video call, a fast-paced quiz show gives coworkers a reason to break the ice and topics to talk through. 2. Getting to Know Each Other & Rely on Each Other - Different categories, questions, and games give individual team members a chance to shine and show off their specific interests and expertise. Not to mention, opportunities to share personal anecdotes! 3. Competitive Spirit - Sometimes, the best way to bring teams together is to pit them against each other. High performing teams embrace competition, and tend to do the best bonding while battling over bragging rights. June 1st may be the official holiday for game show lovers, but any time is a great time to unite your people through a high-energy competition. Want to see how? We're hosting a free, live demo of our popular event Ultimate Game Show on June 4th. Sign up to see how excited and involved your remote team can be in this online showdown and see how our hosts will keep your people smiling and keep their fingers on the buzzer.

Today is National Scavenger Hunt Day! Scavenger hunts are an activity that go beyond fun and can be a tool for enhancing team bonds and fostering collaboration within any organization. Here’s how: Boosting Communication 📢 Scavenger hunts require team members to communicate effectively, share ideas, and strategize together. This enhances open communication channels and ensures everyone’s voice is heard. Encouraging Problem-Solving 🧩 Each clue in a scavenger hunt presents a new challenge, encouraging team members to think critically and solve problems together. This builds a culture of collective problem-solving and innovative thinking. Building Trust 🤝 Working together to achieve a common goal in a fun and low-stakes environment helps build trust among team members. This trust translates into stronger working relationships and improved collaboration on work projects. Fostering Creativity 🎨 The diverse and often quirky nature of scavenger hunts sparks creativity. Teams must think outside the box to find clues and complete tasks, which can inspire creative approaches in their work. Promoting Team Spirit 💪 The shared experience of a scavenger hunt creates lasting memories and strengthens the sense of camaraderie. It’s a perfect way to break down silos and encourage a unified team spirit. On this National Scavenger Hunt Day, let’s embrace the opportunity to bring our teams closer together through this engaging and collaborative activity. Whether virtual or in-person, a well-designed scavenger hunt can be a game-changer for your team dynamics. Check the comments for Scavenger Hunt lists and resources to use with your team! Happy hunting! 🕵️♂️🔍 #NationalScavengerHuntDay #TeamBuilding #Collaboration #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceCulture
