A HUGE shout-out to the TEAL team, who made our recent air-cooled chiller plant installation in Houston, TX, a massive success. The 10-story, 124-unit apartments at The Hallmark Senior Living experienced minimal downtime and zero disruptions while we crane-lifted and installed two Carrier HVAC chillers complete with TEAL’s 24/7 Beacon monitoring technology. Once complete, TEAL will have provided, installed, and will be managing a total of three chiller plants, three domestic hot water plants, and three hydronic plants for the tenants at Hallmark. It (almost) goes without saying that a project of this magnitude requires a significant amount of time, preparation, and planning . . . but it also takes the right kind of partners. Here at TEAL, we’re fortunate to work alongside customer partners like Hallmark and Brazos Presbyterian Homes, Inc. Week 2, 2024~TEAL Systems getting it done in the Valley of the Sun. The valleys leading 50-year-old family owned commercial printing company received TEAL System first iPlant installation for 2024. The client was looking for financial solution to flat line their costs and eliminate down time issues. Solution selected, TEAL Systems iPlant. Our central plant solutions are far beyond typical mechanical contractors full service agreements. No exclusions, no obsolescence, no non-moveable, no non-maintainable! Sum and substance, NO EXCUSES. What I found interesting about this project is the connection between printing companies and air conditioning systems. Willis H. Carrier invented modern air conditioning system in 1902 while designing a means to control the humidity in a printing plant. This invention eventually led to the creation of modern air conditioning systems used for cooling and heating in various applications.
