At Taco Bell, our Brand Values (Be People-First, Be Fan-Led, Be Fearless, Be Different) are found and reflected in everything we do. This season, we’re highlighting our core value, Be People-First. We can’t control what happens out in the world, but we can control the investments we make in our people. Take a look below to see how Gamar I., General Manager, Redberry Restaurants embodies this core value! 🇨🇦 👥 😍🦸💪 🌮 Over the last 25 years, Gamar has progressed with the brand, from a Service Champion to Shift Lead for several different Franchise entities. She has trained dozens of Owners, Operators, Restaurant General Managers and Team Members, learning to work with different people and systems – which made her passion for meeting new people and training even stronger. “From Team Members to guests, I am nothing without the people I've interacted with. Each person I’ve encountered has taught me new things, and at the same time, I’ve never felt more at home and supported... I’ve been able to see Team Members start in their teens, turn into young adults, and realize their dreams, which is so rewarding. I don’t have children of my own, but the restaurant teams have been, and are my family. Everyone calls me Momma Gamar.” Read the full story below ⬇ #tacobellcanada #25years #sudanese #peoplefirst #ourvalues

I go to my favorite local Taco Bell 🔔 for breakfast way too much 😂 They know my order and my name and I know all of them and their stories. They always make my morning 🌅, especially today when I saw this on my breakfast quesadilla! It just proves how the smallest of kind gestures can make a huge difference in someone's day! 🏳️🌈 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) Pride Month is celebrated annually in June and is a time to recognize the worldwide impact and accomplishments that these individuals have had and continue to have. 🏳️🌈 To honor this month and our people, we’re amplifying the voices of those in the LBGTQIA+ community who are growing their careers at Taco Bell...ending with Joshua A., Team Member, Taco Bell Corp. “Right before my mother passed away in March, she accepted me, and she helped my dad do the same. It became a promise for my dad, and that’s why it’s very special for me.” Joshua hadn’t been able to celebrate Pride Month before, because he didn’t come out until this year. It took him seven years to be comfortable and safe with who he is. That’s why, he feels patience is key to this journey. “I tell people not to worry, because you are not alone; you have us, a whole community of people supporting you. Be patient with yourself... you will have a moment to shine bright, break free, and be who you really are.” Not only does Joshua identify with the LGBTQIA+ community, but also with those who are deaf.
