Our solution, "Empowering Disabled Entrepreneurs Through Inclusive Financial Solutions”, has been selected to advance to the semi-finalist round of Solve’s Economic Prosperity Global Challenge. Synergies Seed Fund is the first financial organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs with disabilities. For this week’s Founder Friday, we’re reaching out with an urgent call to support one of our own, William, an inspiring participant in our Igniting Ideas program. William's working diligently with Synergies and Kentucky’s Vocational Rehabilitation agency to pursue a career in the travel industry. However, life has thrown him a major curveball. Due to his roommate’s financial troubles, William is now facing homelessness as their home is foreclosed. We believe in the power of our community and are reaching out to ask for your help. William needs support to secure short-term housing and ensure a smooth transition. This includes covering rent, deposits, and moving costs. As William is legally blind, he’ll also need extra assistance during this move. ⭐️Founder Friday⭐️ Ruby Taylor, M.S.W, is the CEO and Founder of Financial Joy School, a virtual investing educational platform that provides financial education and investment tools to Black and Brown youth and their families. We sat down with Ruby at the 2024 EDDIE Awards and talked about the importance of collaboration as an Entrepreneur. Ruby broke down the ways we all receive support and guidance on our business journey. Ruby is a double HBCU alumna (Howard University and Virginia Union University) and advocates for closing the racial wealth gap to make our world more financially equitable.
