We’re thrilled to announce the publication in The Lancet of data from the Phase 3 trial of Stanza, a digital therapy for #fibromyalgia symptoms. This research validates Stanza’s clinical benefits for people with fibromyalgia, including improvements in well-being (measured by Patient Global Impression of Change), fibromyalgia severity (measured by the Revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ-R)), and major fibromyalgia symptoms including pain intensity, pain interference, fatigue, sleep disturbance, depression and physical function, when compared to an active control. “Fibromyalgia options are typically limited to a handful of pharmacological interventions that have limited efficacy and that can come with difficult to manage side effects,” said Mike Rosenbluth, CEO of Swing. “This publication validates Stanza as a guideline-directed, non-drug approach that many patients previously couldn’t access, due to few available trained clinicians, geographic limitations, and cost. New data alert! 🎉 Swing released new outcomes data from Swing Care, a telehealth clinic delivering multimodal treatment for #fibromyalgia, at the Society of Behavioral Medicine annual meeting last week.  The results from Swing Care support meaningful improvement in well-being and reduced fibromyalgia severity among patients who received personalized treatment in the clinic: 🟢 At Day 30, 65% of the patients reported improvement in well-being, as measured by Patient Global Impression of Change (PGIC).  🟢 At Day 90, 81% of the patients reported improvement in well-being (PGIC).  Improvements were also shown on additional clinical measures, including fibromyalgia severity, pain intensity and depression.  🟢 100% of Swing Care patients reported satisfaction with the clinic across the 90 days. Study authors were also selected for the 2024 SBM Citation Award to deliver a podium presentation on the results from a pivotal randomized controlled trial of Stanza, highlighting the potential for online Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to be an efficacious, accessible, and cost-effective treatment for people with fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. At the American Academy of Pain Medicine's annual meeting last week, Swing presented outcomes data on Swing Care, a specialty clinic for people with #fibromyalgia, as well as the results from a pivotal randomized controlled trial of Stanza, its prescription digital therapy for fibro. Results from a chart review of 199 Swing Care patients showed that clinical improvements were observed from Day 30 and increased in later followups, particularly in symptoms that patients most frequently reported to limit their quality of life (QoL), including pain, fatigue, “fibro fog”, difficulty sleeping, and difficulty moving. We’re proud to share early outcomes from Swing Care, a specialty clinic dedicated to comprehensive, evidence-based fibromyalgia treatment, presented at the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine annual meeting. 🎉 After one month of care, 65% of the patients reported improvement in their well-being (any improvement on Patient Global Impression of Change (PGIC)). The response rate increased to ≥75% among patients who received 2 and 3 months of care. The cohort also: 🟢 improved in fibromyalgia severity (measured by the Revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ-R)) 🟢 improved in pain intensity 🟢 demonstrated overall satisfaction with medical care received at the clinic Swing Care’s personalized care plans combine non-opioid pharmacological and non-drug approaches, which could include Stanza, an FDA-cleared prescription digital behavioral therapy for treatment of fibromyalgia symptoms.
