Earlier this year, as part of our commitment to create a more inclusive physical and digital experience in U.S. stores nationwide, we launched an Inclusive Spaces Framework to create a more accessible store experience that will guide new store designs and renovations going forward. Some of the key features designed to make a difference include a next-generation point-of-sale, optimized acoustics and lighting, customer order status board, a more accessible handoff counter, and the Aira app for customers who are blind or have low-vision which allows them to connect to on-demand visual interpreters who help guide them through the store. We are committed to improving the partner experience and creating a more accessible and inclusive setting for all partners and customers. Explore open roles here: careers.starbucks.com

Cheers to 10 years, Brittany! Truly an inspiration. 💚☕

It’s my 10-year Coffeeversary! A whole decade ago, I threw my hat in the ring for a job I thought I’d never get. Within weeks, I’d landed the role, relocated to Seattle, and moved into a rental furnished with nothing but an air mattress, a lawn chair, and a coffee maker (priorities!). And so began my journey as a latte lawyer. Here are 10 things I’ve learned on this 10-year adventure: 🏃♀️Remove fear from the equation and bet on yourself. 🤝 Relationships are the key. Build them and nurture them. 🥂 Celebrate the success of others as if it were your own. 🎁 A great manager is a rare gift. 👩💻Stop re-reading your own emails and move on. Am I the only one with this toxic work trait? 🌱 Growth requires risk and loss. They go hand-in-hand. 💪 The world needs less idea guys. Be the colleague who does the things. 💡Everyone is just trying to do their best with the information and resources they have. No one, at any level, has it all figured out. ☕️ Remember that, even in the hard times, you might be living someone else’s career dream. 💚 Be a good partner. Express gratitude. Offer praise. Check in on people when they are hurting. Remove barriers. Give more than you receive. Thank you, Starbucks, for the most incredible—and the most caffeinated—decade I could have imagined! #tobeapartner #tenyears #notjazzhands

This month, Starbucks and our Disability Advocacy Network are celebrating Disability Pride Month grounded in the theme, "Courageous Together," as we honor the contributions and diverse experiences of individuals with disabilities, their families and friends.   Meet Jonathan, a 6-year partner (employee) and member of the Disability Advocacy Network.  "Being part of the Disability Advocacy Network (DAN) has been transformative for me, and it means more than just membership – it’s a community where we share facts, stories, and common struggles. We understand that everyone has special abilities, and together, we belong. Our human connections give us purpose and help us move forward." For our people, by our people, Partner Networks (employee resource groups) create moments of connection that promote diversity, foster inclusion and contribute to our personal and professional success. Partners at any stage in their career can join to connect and find opportunities to learn, celebrate, and reflect on the diverse cultures, experiences and convictions that make us human.
