It was a pleasure hosting Stephanie Wisner, CBO and co-founder of Centivax, for Stanford Biotechnology Group's Women Founders' Series the other evening! We had an incredible time at our recent TechBio Meetup event! Our presidents, Michelle Tai and Sarah Jones had the opportunity to meet some influential leaders and innovators at a retreat in Boston hosted by Pillar VC last week.
Last week, I was fortunate enough to participate in a two-day retreat hosted by the team at Pillar VC with the other leaders of our country-wide Biotech Coalition. As it happened, the presidents and leaders of Stanford Biotechnology Group, GSAS Harvard Biotech Club, Dartmouth Biotech Club, Yale Biotech Club, and BIOTECH XYZ who started the coalition this year were all women. Thanks to Madelyn Heart and Grace Barrett, we were able to all meet in-person for the first time and get to know leaders within the biotech ecosystem. Thank you to Shi Yin Foo (Arvada Tx), Ivana Muncie-Vasic (Vitra Labs), Luciano Bueno (GALY), Traci Haddock (Asimov), Vanessa Barth (Eli Lilly and Company), Anna Marie Wagner (Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc.), Thomas de Vlaam, and Tony Kulesa for taking the time to share your experiences and helping to inspire the next generation of women in biotech!

We recently hosted Dr. Leah Makley, COO at MBC BioLabs as part of our annual Women Founders Series.
