We are proud to serve our community. Many thanks, St. Mary's County Department of Economic Development.
In continuing celebration of St. Mary’s County nonprofits and their partnership and support of important economic development initiatives, we are highlighting the St. Mary's County Community Development Corporation. Led by Executive Director Taylor Smith, MSW, the St. Mary’s CDC drives an extensive range of projects and initiatives forward that impact the community of St. Mary’s County. They lead projects such as the Annual Great Mills Road Cleanup that brings together over 150 volunteers to help beautify Great Mills Road, they help to bring public art & murals to the community by working with the St. Mary’s County Arts Council, and they facilitate impactful community projects like the Lexington Manor Passive Park Community Gardens. In addition, they provide support for the Lexington Park Business Association and their two large events in Lexington Park – Holly Days and the upcoming Community, Culture, and Cuisine event scheduled for June 29th at St. Mary’s Square. Thank you for all that you do to help enhance the quality of life for everyone in St. Mary’s County, all of the projects you help lead that support many departments across St. Mary's County Government, and for your fantastic support and partnership with St. Mary's County Department of Economic Development!
