School gardens aren't just anecdotally changing attitudes about healthy eating. They're actually doing it. A study, linked below, shows that many students who participated in a school garden program improved their vegetable intake, improved their BMI and improved their vegetable recognition. https://lnkd.in/etUFwZiG

40 states were represented. 6 countries were, too. 525 individuals chose from 43 workshops, 19 cooking and outdoor demos, and 13 field trips. We understand that the creation of outdoor learning spaces often requires outside support, which is why we have two exciting grant opportunities available through the end of May. Our Sprouting School Gardens grants help build or reimagine school garden spaces, while a collaborative grant with Lundberg Family Farms will help 15 schools establish wildlife habitats on campus.
