A Berl Davis has joined the Board of Trustees! Berl has been the President and CEO of Palmetto Electric Cooperative, Inc. since 2014. His journey with Palmetto Electric began in 1988 as Vice President of Engineering and Operations and he later served as Vice President and COO from 2013 to 2014. Berl graduated from Clemson University with a degree in electrical engineering and completed the NRECA Management Internship Program at the University of Nebraska. He has served in various utility organizations, including the Central Electric Power Cooperative Board of Trustees, ECSC, CEEUS and NRECA. There are several important revisions to our Cooperative Revolving Loan Program: ✅ Interest Rates: 0% for years 1-3, SOFR + 1% for years 4-5, and SOFR + 2% for years 6-10. ✅ Loan Amount: Increased maximum from $500,000 to $1,000,000. ✅ Loan Limit: Up to two open loans per cooperative service territory. With these changes, we aim to enhance our support and growth opportunities for projects within our cooperative areas! Please join us in welcoming Rob Ardis, PE to the Board of Trustees! Rob has been the President and CEO of Santee Electric Cooperative since 2015. With an additional 14 years at Pee Dee Electric Cooperative, he brings a wealth of experience to the board. Rob also serves on the ECSC, Central and CEEUS boards, and is an ex-officio member of the South Carolina Public Service Authority board. Rob graduated from Francis Marion University with degrees in physics, mathematics and an MBA. He also holds an electrical engineering degree from The University of Tennessee and is a registered professional engineer in South Carolina.
