Meta is undoubtedly doing the most consequential work in open source AI. We (Sourcegraph) are happy to bring the coding-specific goodness of their latest model, Llama 3.1 (released today), to developers. You can use it through the Ollama integration in Cody.

Anthropic is truly impressive, especially its focus on coding scenarios. In a recent case study, we discussed how Cody (AI coding assistant from Sourcegraph) provided support for the entire Claude 3 model family—Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus—with significant improvements in both the speed and accuracy of code output. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gGPTBCu3 But the Anthropic team is not resting. Claude 3.5 Sonnet is already out and making waves. Btw, Cody fully supports it now. Cody supports multiple ways of utilizing Claude models: - Directly through Cody - By providing your existing Claude API keys - Through the Bedrock service from Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Through the Vertex AI service from Google Cloud
Sourcegraph enhances the intelligence and speed of their AI-powered coding assistant with Claude

Sourcegraph Cody seems to be a much better value at just $9/m compared to Cursor AI ($20) if you want to have full codebase/context support in (actual) VS Code with unlimited Claude 3.5 Sonnet messages (which, btw, is crushing it with one-shot prompting).
