  • Welcome to our new Wound Healing Medical Director, Dr. Sylvia Maniscalco! Dr. Maniscalco is an expert in wound care and is excited to join our Wound Healing Center, in partnership with Healogics, LLC. Dr. Maniscalco chose wound care as her specialty because of the unique opportunity for teaching. "There's a visible defect in the skin that affects patients' motivation. You have frequent follow-ups every single week and that provides a different teaching opportunity, which I really enjoy." Pictured with Dr. Maniscalco is Dr. Dounies, our previous Wound Healing Director. We are excited to have Dr. Dounies continue to treat patients and guide Dr. Maniscalco during this transition.
