Everyone knows #transmission is a major factor in reaching our full #renewableenergy potential. So, how are we navigating challenges and opportunities?    This week Noel Augustine and Ravi Bantu will share insights at Infocast Transmission & Interconnection Summit.    Noel and Ravi will participate in the panels “MISO Queue Reform as a Blueprint for Meeting and Exceeding Order No. 2023 Reforms Nationwide” and “CAISO Order No. 2023 Implementation: Progress to Date, and the Impacts Being Seen on Queues” respectively.

At Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) Connect last week, our very own Chelsea Keys, Director, Power Marketing, and David Fernandes, Director, Product Strategy, hosted a discussion on contracting time-matching renewables and storage.   It was #energizing to be in conversation with so many of our colleagues and customers that are driving forward technologies and policies to support the #decarbonization of the power sector.   At SB Energy, we are advancing energy infrastructure technology and our digital platform that enables innovative flexible generation. It’s #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth and our team members wanted to bring visibility to mental health discussions and activities that help us. This month, our team participated in #Bike2Work or Wherever Week 🚲    Outdoor physical activity and nature does wonders for calming our minds and moving our body, across our diverse workforce, including those who work remotely. SB Energy is committed to supporting the well-being of our employees through inclusive initiatives, resources, and conversations because we believe that mental health is integral to overall health.

SB Energy commends the U.S. Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service for issuing important clarification and guidance this week on the bonus tax credits for domestic manufactured products.     The guidance is a step in strengthening the U.S. #renewableenergy industry and especially the U.S. energy supply chain. Since IRA passed, tens of thousands of jobs have been created in renewable energy manufacturing. As a company that owns and operates nearly 3 GW of solar capacity, we’re constantly thinking about how to operate our projects more efficiently. Last week at the PV Performance Modeling Collaborative Workshop #PVPMC, our very own Pradeep Somi Ganeshbabu, with an industry team, presented an evaluation on how variable irradiance across a utility-scale #PV plant impacts the precision of modeling clipping losses. The work should help the industry more accurately model long-term energy forecasts. #renewableenergy #performanceengineering #solarenergy
