Enabling sustainable retail with an impact-driven revenue stream

About us

A Roadmap to Zero Waste begins with Sangrove. Sangrove is a new green commerce tech for consumer goods industries, enabling Impact Shopping - a volume Impact-driven aggregated presell, leading to sustainable consumption and substantial environmental impact. As a new proprietary technology, we enable brands to sell to sustainability-conscious and fashion-forward consumers before production to collectively green-light manufacturing of new products while averting unnecessary emissions. We specifically address the main pains of those industries, that produce consumer goods with the short life span, like fashion, by enabling demand-driven production and preventing excess inventory for brands and retailers alike, leading to cost savings and higher profits across platform participants. The Brand/Retailer benefits with optimized stock planning, increased profit margins while coming up with a great story to woo young demographics. Our process and technology involve sustainability-conscious and fashion-forward consumers in shopping by means of a limited-time volume pre-sell and new sustainability-focused incentives. Sangrove’s blockchain-based smart contract technology aggregates orders into bulk in real-time and calculates impact created by collective action. We track, measure and communicate impact created by averting unnecessary emissions while tuning production to demand. In light of the new upcoming legislation in US and EU, we offer a concrete practical solution as a new process and immutable transparent records via our patent-pending web3 technology. AS A BRAND: - Woo GenZs - Increase key e-comm metrics - Gain early sales data - Optimize Inventory - Minimize deadstock and stockouts AS A CONSUMER: - Make a tangible measured Impact while shopping for the newest trends - Save the Planet by acting on your sustainable values - Shop guilt free

How can our green commerce platform help your company minimize cost? COGS, in particular.  Our innovative #Sangrove technology prompts manufacturing only after the product has been purchased by a critical mass of consumer, reaching a necessary volume in aggregated way, thus minimizes the overproduction and eliminates deadstock from the equation. With no wasted product, no deadstock, there is no wasted cost.  In accordance with immediate real time consumer purchasing feedback, our #retailtech can aid in further design ideas that model the types of products people are actually buying. With knowledge of the true market response your #brand can create a relationship with the consumer population, prompting alignment, purchases, and more profit.  Through our methodology, you can test new designs and concepts, enter new markets or venture into new assortment groups, before enacting large-scale production, to ensure positive reactions - this eliminates the risk element a brand may feel when turning over a new leaf. This trial period identifies which products align best with our #ImpactShopping Methods in order for your company to maximize profits. In short, we help you to focus on consumer purchasing and production efficiencies to enable ESG goals. Simple and functional approaches to reduce #waste now. • After our recent attendance of the European Commission's information session regarding the new ESPR #Regulations, we wanted to present more information regarding the definitions of #unsold goods, what their regulations entail, and what it means to have a ban to destroy. Unsold goods are defined, in their scope within parameters of apparel and footwear, as any product that has not been purchased but has been manufactured - this includes clothing waiting in inventory, product samples (!), and even goods on shelves that haven’t been purchased. The elephant in the room - the ugly size of overproduction - will now be in the open, with accountability and transparency in a play. The new regulations regarding these goods focus on limiting the greater environmental impact and in the future timeline completing banning the harmful disregarding practices. The legislation follows a broad general claim that prohibits the destruction of unsold goods, however, the actual law in place emphasizes the necessary behaviors by a company to showcase they are doing all they possibly can to not destroy goods, and when they do, they need to disclose all procedures that occur within this destroying transaction. “All they possibly can,” is definitely not black and white, but the European Commission highlighted behaviors such as, implementing predictive models on demand so there is less overstock, a good return policy so those goods don’t need to be destroyed but mainly upkept to be redistributed. After these procedures, if a company still has unsold goods they can’t reuse or recycle, the disclosure process begins. The disclosure needs to be publicly shared and include - the number and weight of products destroyed, why they were, what facilities they were disregarded by and how, and necessary procedures they took to attempt to not-destroy these goods. Luckily at #Sangrove our mission has always been to minimize and preempt unsold goods from the equation of waste. With our #Impact Shopping innovative methodology, our code creates a world where goods are manufactured on a need-be basis. Adhere to the new ESPR laws, limit your environmental impact with Sangrove. #unsoldgoods #productiontodemand #demandmeasuring #impactshopping #esprregulation

  • New laws and regulations regarding sustainability reporting have made it to the United States. This global movement has been kick-started largely by the recent implications of the EU’s ESPR regulations. US public companies who have filed US 10-K and foreign privaye companies who file 20-F forms with the US SEC will now be required to also disclose all of their business practices regarding sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities - including : sustainability strategy, targets and progress, products and services, business relationships, and incentive programs. The regulations for large companies, profits over $1B, begin in July of this year, and medium-smaller companies begin at the start of the next fiscal year - this requires a swift change in all companies tracking and reporting methods. There is no more room for false sense of sustainability, let the real change and awareness begin!

  • We agree with HKUST Business School at the University of Hong Kong that Discounting is a Double Edged Sword. Extensive Discounting can Damage your Business and Brand. Discounting also supports overproduction and waste and is Killing Our Planet. Leading brands can maintain superior profitably even in difficult economic times by avoiding extreme discounting and focusing on the preferences of their loyal customers. Our IMPACT SHOPPING platform thelps brands successfully launch and promote new products with zero waste and no discounts. By cooperating with your customers IMPACT SHOPPING aggregates, the product desires, and preferences of your customers on your digital platforms to ensure that only the right number of products are produced for your most desirable products. Social Commerce and Branded Community tools encourage pre-orders for limited edition offerings that are selected and produced due to high levels of demand. By working together with your customers and rewarding them to select from options to determine the most desirable products your brand can create profitable and responsible relationships. Endless discounting, artificially hyped styles and generic influencer recommendations creates superficial and replaceable engagements that tragically produce financial losses, unnecessary waste and environmental damage. This post by Lynk Town directly aligns with our core beliefs here at Sangrove. Just to highlight a couple of key points presented: First and foremost, customers consistently communicate that they care. The environmental impacts of fast fashion and overconsumption have hit the news, and are influencing the purchasing habits, with overwhelming majority of consumers stated they take sustainability into account now when retail shopping. Another highlight - sustainability is no longer an expensive business practice, however, it is more cost effective: by eliminating excess production costs, a supplier can improve their profit margins by a noticeable amount. The last aspect to highlight is the importance of technology in sustainability. Here at #Sangrove we've developed a code that can be easily implemented within pre-existing e-commerce. Our #impactshopping technology allows retailers to bring consumer to the product key on, track their products' success, and ensure no excess waste is generated. #Sangrove #ImpactShopping #Impact #Innovation #GlobalChange #TakeInitiave #ZeroWaste #ShopSmart #Sustainability

  • This is awesome news! 85% of UK major retailers outline sustainability as a business driver, according to a new survey of the British Retail Consortium members by BearingPoint. The future of fashion development is here, and the UK is an example of what can be our global practices.  The emphasis on automating pre production demand assessment and subsequint decarbonization data tracking as a result of minimizing overproduction can be successfully done by implementing our impact shopping™ method and tech - this would allow brands and retailers to include consumers into the sustainable way of purchasing and track results of their sustainable practices.  Sustainable fashion doesn’t have to be ugly or different.  Sustainable fashion doesn’t have to be hard. Sustainable fashion can and should be new, trendy and exciting.
