Say HEY on this FriYAY to our NEW COACHES! The lineup: Jordan Benjamin 🧘 who has THIS to say about coaching: "Coaching is what helps unlocks rapid development, it uncovers blind spots and can accelerate your path to success." Kacey Fields who dropped THIS 🔥 selling tip: "Don’t ever forget the importance of rapport building and the opportunity to get to know your prospect, their pain points and the why behind their need for your solution. Even if your point of contact is not the sole decision maker, having someone who is advocating for you internally within their organization with others you may not ever get to speak to is invaluable and is worth time investing in." Mike Day who joined SIA's coaching staff for THIS reason: "Being a coach is one of the most rewarding things I have ever been able to do in my profession, seeing people develop their skills and careers after coaching is exactly why I got into management. Coaching for SIA is even more exciting as I get to support people from all different roles, industries and geography's and develop as a more well rounded coach." Welcome aboard, team. We're stoked to have you! #sales #salescoaches #coaching #newcoaches #friyay #SIA

"NO TIME TO COACH!" Between call support, pipeline reviews, internal meetings, and more, managers are strapped for time to develop sales, CS, and SDR skills with their reps. In our survey earlier this week of 50 managers, 57% said they spend 2 hours or less a week coaching their reps. But, coaching can dramatically impact performance. In a blog earlier this year, Qwilr shared "a structured coaching program can lead to a 28% higher win rate and 88% increase in productivity." [full blog in comments] So, what can you do to coach your reps when you're pressed for time? >> Targeted Group Coaching Sessions << If, say, your team is struggling with top-of-funnel email conversions, have them each submit a recent email they sent that week, and, as a group review each one over 30 to 60 minutes. Be specific: > What works? > What doesn't? > What should we change? Do the same thing with email objection handling or call reviews - but get specific. > If you're running a call review, have reps highlight a |specific| aspect of the call. If you want reps to improve their discovery, listen to two calls a week as a team, ONLY highlighting the discovery section of that conversation. If it's call agendas, have reps share the first 5 minutes of their calls & discuss, or, better yet ROLE PLAY the changes you'd make with your team. By coaching as a group, reps will learn from each other, maximizing impact, while saving managers and their team time. >> Still Strapped for Time? << Check out SIA's bespoke live trainings with our amazing coaching staff. Our learners spend their time practicing critical sales and CS skills with immediate feedback from field tested coaches. And THAT is a win for everyone. #sales #cs #sdr #salesskills #csskills #sdrskills #coaching
