SaaStr is the world’s largest community of SaaS executives, founders, and entrepreneurs. Our goal is to help everyone get from $0 to $100m ARR with less stress and more success. We do that with a combination of industry-leading content and community connections. The SaaStr Annual is the largest non-vendor event in the industry. SaaStr began in 2012 as a simple WordPress blog and a few answers on Quora sharing EchoSign founder Jason Lemkin’s learnings of going from $0 to $100m ARR at EchoSign. This led to our first meet-ups in 2013, the first SaaStr Annual in 2015, the industry’s leading podcast in 2016, the first coworking space in 2017, and the first learning management system for SaaS CEOs in 2018. To continue expanding and serving the community, SaaStr has grown its offerings to include regional and global events, a co-selling space, an investment fund, and an automated e-learning platform. SaaStr has been named one of the Top 100 Blogs for Entrepreneurs but Forbes and one of the 50 Best Websites for Entrepreneurs by Inc. Magazine, and a Top Writer on Quora six times. Jason has been named by Business Insider to the 32 Most Powerful People in Business Technology.

I helped the world's most innovative enterprises adopt SaaS Enterprise Tech. I now help UK/EU founders solve for growth capital and founder liquidity as they scale.
Been slammed but wanted to share a few quick thoughts from SaaStr Europa which hit London last month. A topic true to my heart as an Silicon Valley SaaS pioneer who took early arrows trying to help Enterprises understand this new and amazing thing called SaaS! Imagine the inner SaaStr walls... where AI was bouncing in the air like magic particles dusting every conversation! But was it magical dust or just a typical hazy London fog we were experiencing? At the end of the day, let's not forget folks - it's all about where the beloved Enterprise Customers are in their buying journey. Money talks and deployments trump even the best magic. Even Harry Potter would agree on that one! SaaS darling SFDC's stock drop that week and headlines "deals are taking longer to close and artificial-intelligence hype isn’t yet paying" didn't necessarily help the mood - but it forced a key takeaway. AI adoption within the Enterprise will take time. We've seen this before - it's the same Netflix series. Customers need to; figure things out, have people, people with time, explore use cases, create business plans, define success metrics, support initial deployments, and then finally get something into final production for all to benefit! Oh - did I mention free POC's along the way :-0) I sat through an interesting session with a chap from OpenAI - who spoke the same language as I do when it came to customers, data and engineering for customer success. There has to be measurable value and vendors need to work with customers to create alignment - and this simply takes time! For those unable to attend - I created a quick 60 second video to share the event vibe. I gave it a "Midjourney Gen-Ai" look to be "Gen-Cool" with a hint of heavy metal music to help move you along the 60 seconds :-) See you at the next SaaStr - enjoy the magic till then! 😁

Keep Calm and Build" - words I've said many times in my career! Or as Jason M. Lemkin would say "Just Build". In a landscape where innovation drives success, Lemkin's emphasis on execution and how building solid foundations couldn't be more timely. As we navigate complexities and opportunities in SaaS, his perspective challenges us to prioritize what truly matters: delivering exceptional solutions that solve real problems.
