Rocky Mountain Power was thrilled to participate in United Way’s STEM Action Day event at the George Eccles Ogden Dinosaur Park in Ogden Utah this past Saturday. The event had over 2,000 attend, full of children of all ages learning about STEM from dozens of vendors. Families learned about power systems and safety from local RMP employees who demonstrated a distribution system model. Rocky Mountain Power is grateful to engage with our communities promoting the exciting applications of STEM in use.

Today, Rocky Mountain Power celebrated the opening of a company-owned hyper-fast public electric vehicle charging station in Millcreek. The station is one of the first of 20 fast charging stations the company is developing in order to support electric vehicle adoption in Utah. Adding to this progress, charging stations in Vernal, Moab and Kimball Junction have been installed to serve customers and support sustainable transportation.
