We're getting ready for takeoff this morning 🛫 here in St. Mary's County Maryland! The SUAS Competition is an annual event aimed at promoting unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technologies and careers. It provides students with a platform to develop and showcase their skills in designing, building, and operating unmanned aerial systems. The competition has been held annually since 2002 and continues to inspire students in the field of UAS. Well all the hard work from the last three months came together today. We were very happy with our time on the obstacle course 1min 5s - we think it was quicker but the judges judge) and while we didn’t get the score we wanted on the mission course it was respectable. Students Showcase Underwater Robotics Prowess at the 2024 International SeaPerch Challenge COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND – RoboNation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering robotics education and workforce development, hosted the International SeaPerch Challenge at the University of Maryland, College Park from May 31 – June 1, 2024. Over 170 teams of elementary, middle and high school student from four continents and 33 states gathered to showcase and test their skills during the annual underwater robotics competition.
