Dementia care for seniors, ready when you are
About us
Rippl is a new kind of mental health company focused on seniors and obsessed with its clinicians. Seniors with mental health challenges, especially neurocognitive conditions like Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, are overlooked and under cared for, often without access to high quality, real-time, practical care. Leveraging a value-based approach, disruptive technology, and a relentless focus on empowering and enabling its clinicians, Rippl is pioneering a new care model to dramatically expand access to high quality, wraparound mental health care for seniors, their families, and caregivers. Rippl provides 24/7 support and personalized care when and where they need it. Founded by a group of impatient optimists and doers from the country’s most iconic health care and consumer brands (who have all been caregivers themselves), and backed by visionary venture investors ARCH Venture Partners, General Catalyst, GV, F-Prime Capital and Mass General Brigham, Rippl is ready to take this urgent challenge head on. Our seniors deserve so much better. Join our movement at ripplcare.com.

Thanks to my colleagues at Rippl for a wonderful inaugural Clinical Advisory Board meeting. For too long our patients with dementia and their family caregivers have been struggling without the support and guidance needed to navigate what is a tremendously challenging journey. 15+ years of outstanding research has developed the evidence for collaborative care models to improve quality of life for individuals with dementia and their caregivers while reducing overall costs of care. We now have an amazing opportunity to make a difference. #Alzheimer’s #Caregivers #CMMI #GUIDE
Today was a very BIG day for Rippl! What a thrill to kick off our first *Rippl Clinical Advisory Board* meeting alongside the board's chairman Brent Forester, Chief and Chair, Department of Psychiatry, Tufts Medical Center. We were joined by fellow advisory board member Ipsit Vahia, MD, Interim Chief of Geriatric Psychiatry McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School, as well as Team Rippl members Julie Madsen, MD, FACEP and Kris Engskov. We have been lucky to partner closely with both Brent and Ipsit as we develop the best in class Dementia Care Navigation service and our own Rippl Academy. They understand the need and know Rippl is the answer. This board meeting came at the perfect time as we expand our services through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services GUIDE model this month. I was so proud to share the tremendous work our Rippl Care Teams have been doing and want to extend huge thanks to Brent and Ipsit for the tremendous guidance they provided to help us along our journey towards improving the lives of people #LIVINGwithDementia and their #caregivers. Onward!

No domain in healthcare presents the degree of opportunity and challenge for innovation as #dementia. Team Rippl is tackling it head-on, and charting new territory. I am honored to serve on their clinical advisory board and explore ways to impact dementia other than those of traditional healthcare and academia. An exciting first meeting today!

"It's go time for dementia care!" (as our fearless leader Kris Engskov says often). So much room for optimism: 💊 New therapeutics 💰 New payment models 🖥 AI advancements 📈 More patients and their caregivers getting the support they need Let's goooooo! #createarippl PS - Good to see our exec team got the memo that it was light blue shirt day!! 🤣 🤣 🤣
I’m convinced there are more dementia experts per capita in Boston than any other US city. An amazing, inspiring week for Team Rippl as we connected with some of the smartest, most passionate folks anywhere working to provide better, smarter dementia care. The launch of the new CMMI GUIDE model, rapid AI advancements and the recent FDA approval of Kisunla (just this month!) gives us a ton of optimism about what’s possible. And, you can bet we’re going to be right there to provide the navigation and care to keep these patients and caregivers at home. Big thanks to our investors and partners at Mass General Brigham Ventures & McLean Hospital for the warm welcome. So much to do, but it’s ’go time’ for dementia! #LIVINGwithdementia #aboutdamntime

"...on top of the heartache and helplessness the disease brings, caregivers are also beset by guilt." #Dementiacaregivers carry a heavy load. 💔 This is why dementia care treatment and support needs to include the caregiver in the equation. This is why we Rippl. https://lnkd.in/g9EuGy-A

Exciting news from the Alzheimer’s Association and Rippl! We're thrilled to announce our new partnership aimed at revolutionizing access to high-quality dementia care nationwide. The Dementia Care Navigation Service is a game-changer, combining Rippl’s on-demand dementia care model with the Alzheimer’s Association’s extensive resources. We're bridging the gap in dementia care, providing essential support to individuals and caregivers across the country. The Dementia Care Navigation Service is part of the eight-year pilot program Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model. Leveraging our expertise and innovative services, we're set to transform dementia care, offering comprehensive support to those in need. Nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, a number expected to nearly double by 2050. According to our 2024 Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures report, 60% of health care workers feel the system doesn't effectively support dementia care. Additionally, 70% of caregivers find care coordination stressful; two in three struggle to access support. Our goal is to change that. Through this partnership, people living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia and their caregivers gain access to 24/7 care coordination, medication management and critical support resources, ensuring every aspect of the dementia journey is addressed. Our goal is not just about providing care, it's about empowering individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. With Rippl’s innovative care model and the Alzheimer’s Association’s commitment to health equity, we're working towards a future where everyone has access to the care they deserve. Join us on this journey to make a difference! Here's how you can support our mission: - Share this post to spread awareness and encourage others to get involved. - Consider making a donation to help fund critical research and support programs. Together, we can shape a better future for all individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

#dementia is a healthcare crisis and the US needs an "all of the above" approach to addressing it. As we strive for a world without Alzheimer's and other dementias, advancements in therapeutics like #donanemab are heartening. We need innovations in both the care and the cure. Team Rippl wakes up every day determined to transform the "care" side of that equation to improve the lives of the millions #LIVINGwithDementia (and their caregivers!). #createarippl
Awesome news from the FDA today, it's a start on the toughest, most unrelenting disease out there. Until then, Rippl is building a national infrastructure to help the vast majority of seniors (and their caregivers) who just won't see the benefits of these drugs. To keep them at home and out of the ER and hospital. Lots of urgent work to do. #LIVINGwithdementia

Breaking News: The FDA has granted approval of Kisunla (donanemab) for the treatment of people living with early symptomatic Alzheimer’s disease. We celebrate Kisunla’s approval as more options mean greater opportunity for more time. This is the third approval of an Alzheimer’s treatment that changes the underlying course of the disease. bit.ly/3XIyyvf
