The Riverfront Mission: To enhance the financial lives of our members.
About us
From the beginning, Riverfront Federal Credit Union (RFCU) has been helping people get their finances on the right track. More than fitting, considering we were originally founded to serve employees of the Reading Railroad back in 1948. Over the years, we adopted more of an “all aboard” approach, allowing many different groups in the Berks community to join our field of membership. To reflect this diverse growth, we changed our name to Riverfront Federal Credit Union in 1987. In 2008, Riverfront was granted a charter amendment to allow anyone who currently lives, works, worships or attends school in Berks County, Pennsylvania or is a legal entity doing business in Berks County to join. Today we have two branch locations in Berks County conveniently located to serve our members at 430 S. 4th Street and Wyomissing, 2001 Museum Road, to serve our growing membership.

🚗 Big Thanks from Berks Cars & Coffee! We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to our second Berks Cars & Coffee of 2024. Your participation made the event a success! This was the second of our four scheduled events, with the next one happening August 11th. Throughout the morning, Riverfront Federal Credit Union hosted over 300 cars, trucks, and motorcycles. We're happy to say that we've raised $300 through event shirt sales, fan favorite trophy participation, and vendor fees to support Ride Again, our non-profit partner for the third quarter! Thank you all for your generous contributions towards their mission! Some highlights from the event: 1. RideAgain shared their mission with the crowd. 2. Queens' Café and The Perk Up Truck served food and drinks nonstop all morning. 3. GoodFellas Granite LLC. was onsite under their tent, engaging with people about improvement projects. They showcased a Mustang/Mustang trailer build with a full-sized Blackstone griddle on display, complete with a granite countertop that they installed. 4. Legacy Cigar Lounge PA donated a $25 gift certificate to our raffle. 5. Top Secret Auto Detailing showcased five client vehicles and provided a $350 gift card for their detail services for our raffle. 6. Tuners Worldwide TM had tables of vintage and newer Hot Wheels and matchbox collectibles. 7. Serene Therapeutic Touch offered chair massages. 8. Senda Auto Sales brought a lifted Wrangler, Gladiator, and 2023 Corvette for sale from their lot in Sinking Spring. 9. Proper Noise donated a $100 gift card to Harbor Freight. Seeing tuner cars parked alongside vintage Aston Martins (and everything in between) is one more reason to love our area. See you all at our next event on August 11!
