Last week we hosted the Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3) at our offices in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. If you're a leader in the roofing industry and you're not a part of RT3, you're missing out! A huge thank you to Karen L. Edwards and Heidi J. Ellsworth who helped organize this event, and catalyzed a collaborative discussion across RT3's members and the Renovate Robotics team. The future of the roofing industry is bright 🚀🤖 #roofing #startups #RT3

February was a huge month for Renovate Robotics! We attended the International Roofing Expo (IRE) and the National Association of Homebuilders' International Builders Show (NAHB IBS) in Las Vegas. Across both shows we met with hundreds of roofing contractors who share our vision for a safer and more productive roofing industry. We also walked away with the top prize in the NAHB IBS pitch competition. Thank you to the show audience who picked Renovate Robotics as their favorite start-up! Hats off to Heidi J. Ellsworth of RoofersCoffeeShop® and Dave Cooper 🎥 who streamed coverage of Renovate live from the show floor and shared our vision to an even bigger audience! #internationalbuildersshow #internationalroofingexpo #roofing #startups #robotics

We took the stage at the biggest event in home construction yesterday... And we walked away as the audience favorite! The National Association of Home Builders' International Builders' Show brings together more than 70,000 builders in Las Vegas each year. This year we were invited to participate in the Startup Zone and showcase the launch of Rufus, our automated roofing robot. We were proud to take the stage and pitch alongside some of the biggest names in construction - Oldcastle, GE, Houzz, Schluter, and Masonite - and we couldn't be more excited about the impact that Renovate Robotics is making on the future of the roofing industry. If you're at the International Builders Show, come find us in the Startup Zone - Booth W4355.

Hello world - meet Rufus. Rufus is an automated roofing robot designed to double productivity and improve safety for roofing contractors. Roofing is the second most dangerous occupation in the United States, and contractors consistently struggle to recruit skilled labor. We believe robotics and AI are going to transform the roofing industry, and Rufus is just the start! If you're headed to the International Roofing Expo next week, come by and see us at booth #9113.

We're excited to be participating in this year's International Roofing Expo! The International Roofing Expo (IRE) is the largest event in roofing, drawing over 14,000 roofers from across America. This year's IRE will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on February 6-8. Are you attending this year's IRE? Come find us in the central hall at booth 9113! #IRE #internationalroofingexpo

I made a life changing decision one year ago today... It's my 1 year anniversary of joining Renovate Robotics! I'm constantly asked why I made the jump, so I decided to share more about my decision, and why I'm so excited about roofing and the future of Renovate. If you’re also passionate about climate and robotics, I encourage you to think about how we can better utilize robotics to accelerate the green transition - or come help us build Renovate. #roofing #startups #climaterobotics

The New York Times just highlighted why we come to work at Renovate Robotics everyday. Roofing services are in high-demand, but the job is incredibly dangerous and labor is scarce. Contractors often ignore labor and safety regulations in order to get jobs done quickly. No roofing job should ever put a human life at risk. That’s why we’re building robots that allow contractors to work safer and more efficiently. Our robots let contractors keep up with demand while still abiding by laws that keep workers safe. https://lnkd.in/d4XczTrD

I didn't expect to wake up and hear Sam Parr and Shaan Puri mention Renovate Robotics as one of the next billion dollar revenue companies alongside the Figures and Andurils of the world. 😅 🚀 On the most recent episode of My First Million, Sam and Shaan argued that if you want to build a $1B+ revenue generating startup, you should start a purpose built robotics company with no product market fit risk. What does it mean to have no product market fit risk? If you can R&D your way through the technical risk of building the actual robot, you'll have an incredibly valuable product with the easiest sales cycle in the world. The roofing industry is starving for a solution to its skilled labor shortage - our focus is on building purpose robots that make it easier and safer than ever to build the best roofs in the world. Huge shoutout to Abe Murray for calling us out in his monthly newsletter, where Sam and Shaan discovered Renovate! Link to subscribe in the comments 🤖
