Cervical cancer and related cancers can be prevented – it just takes awareness, proper screening, and vaccination. Dr. John Schorge, a national leader in the treatment of cervical and other gynecologic cancers, recently held a Lunch & Learn to encourage women to take charge of their health by getting the HPV vaccine, having routine Pap exams, and seeing their provider if they experience symptoms like abnormal bleeding after sex.
