We have been working on this project for over two years and it is hard to describe how excited I am to see it fully off the ground and signing up customers. The opportunity to watch my Dad lead IT at the Mayo Clinic and then to work there for his boss early in my career is what made me decide to focus on enterprise tech. In a lot of ways, launching Blackwell Security, Inc. feels like things have come full circle as we are finally addressing a massively unmet need in the industry that my Dad and I used to talk about on our shared commute to work. It has been awesome working with the team at General Catalyst on this and full credit to Hemant Taneja for first suggesting we focus on the healthcare sector. GC has brought an incredible network of relationships to the table that have already proven invaluable. I could not be more excited about the founders and leadship team that has come together with Geyer Jones, Jason Lee and Jaclyn Miller and what this entire team is capable of. I truly believe we have the best possible people leading the charge in this market! Looking forward to signing Mayo up as a customer soon :-)
