Kishan Naik just celebrated three years working with RA! In his Operations Manager role, Kishan churns out numbers, data, and systems behind the scenes. That doesn’t stop him from connecting with the core of our work. Kishan is a dedicated mentor to a middle school student, provides academic support to RA high schoolers, keeps the tunes bumping in our office, and is always up for a passionate debate. Happy anniversary, Kishan!

Did you know? In addition to volunteers from the community, every Rainier Athletes staff member is a dedicated mentor to a student, regardless of their day-to-day roles. We believe that hands-on experience with mentoring infuses our mission into the ways we fundraise, communicate, and operate. It also means that we walk alongside our mentors and we’re right there when a mentor/mentee pair needs support or kudos 🤝

Meet Samir: UW student, RA intern, and dedicated mentor. With his knack for making everyone feel at ease, he turns every moment into something special. Samir's dedication shines through when he is on the go juggling school, his internship, and work. He never fails to show up for his mentee, even when it's when it's straight from work and covered in paint, embodying the true spirit of mentorship!
