Since graduating from the University of Virginia Law School in 1988 and the College of William & Mary in 1985, Colleen has been practicing in employment law, personal injury law, family formation (adoption and surrogacy) law, and estate planning. She is a fellow and former president of the Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys, as well as a member of the LGBT Family Law Institute, ASRM, Resolve, National Council for Adoption, AAJ, and VTLA. Colleen coauthored the Virginia Adoption Procedures and Forms book, showcasing her authority in ART law.
