This week at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, PVBLIC Foundation proudly supported the Global Institute for the future of Tourism (GIFT), Winds For Future, and the Advanced Leadership Foundation as they officially launched the World Summit on Energy Transition, set to take place on November 28th and 29th in Fortaleza, Ceará, northeastern Brazil. Jorge Brown, President of The Institute and CEO of the Advanced Vision Foundation, led delegates and guests from across the finance, technology, education, government, and tourism sectors through impactful discussions on multi-stakeholder opportunities for sustainable development and clean energy in Brazil. The forum began with a video demonstration of the Brazilian state of Ceará’s commitment to energy transition and sustainable development. João Salmito Filho, Secretary for Economic Development of Ceará, led attendees through a data-driven presentation on opportunities for sustainable energy production in the region followed by enlightening discussion on multinational and cross-sector partnerships.
