A new season of "In the Dark" begins, hosted and co-created by Madeleine Baran. The fearless investigative podcast will examine one of the most high-profile war crimes in U.S. military history. A production of The New Yorker distributed by PRX, “This season will be an essential listen for anyone who cares about the future of audio reporting,” says Chris Bannon of Condé Nast. “Our reporting took us to twenty-one states and three continents, and involved sifting through tens of thousands of pages of never-before-released documents," says Baran. "We're looking forward to our findings becoming public." "In the Dark" is a two-time Peabody Awards winner and was the first podcast to win a George Polk Award for revelatory work. https://lnkd.in/eJ7mk-K8

WHYY's Tom Grahsler: "Public media gives us the freedom to tell the types of stories that are absent from traditional travel narratives."
